Playback
At equal quality, the best picture and the best sound come first.
Essential, Cinephile, Nomad or Zen: a style sets how streams are picked for you.
Copies of the same file fit on a single line, with their count.
A season competes with an episode; the line gives the total size and the size per episode.
A title not yet released shows no fake link, just its date.
Changed a setting? Viewio names the nearest style and goes back to it in one click.
Below the chosen threshold (720p, 1080p, 4K), the stream is not offered.
One stream per resolution, or several versions; a short list or the full one.
Handy on 4G or with little space: set a ceiling on size.
Includes the copies your playback service must prepare first, marked ⏳.
A fixed version (PROPER, REPACK) moves ahead of the one it replaces.
Dated shows, anthologies, Grands Prix and anime cut differently all land on the right episode.
Languages
Rank your languages: the first one moves ahead, and each keeps its place in the list.
The real audio tracks win over the name, confirmed by a ✓.
Anime mostly comes out in subtitled original: its languages are set separately.
French dub, multi-language file, Québec French dub or subtitled version: each one is told apart.
Accept only the languages the file confirms; the list may get short.
Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese: every language Viewio can recognise.
One switch, then your ranked languages: they reach Stremio, yours first.
Set aside by default; allow them if you would rather have one than none.
Titles, summaries, catalogue names and default subtitles in French or English.
Quality
Quality, language, resolution, size: drag the criteria into the order you want.
Tick or type H.265, AV1, HDR, Dolby Vision, Atmos, DTS…: Viewio recognises the word.
Above the chosen limit, the stream is not offered.
A floor on source quality: BluRay, WEB-DL, WEBRip, HDTV or DVD.
Bound size and bitrate, minimum or maximum; a pack counts per episode.
Limit the copies per resolution; your languages always keep a place.
Set aside recordings made in a cinema, early releases included, and 3D versions.
At equal resolution, HDR and Dolby Vision come first.
Display
Write your own line with variables (title, HDR, languages, size, bitrate…), without overwriting anything.
Resolution, Compact, Detailed or Light: you choose how Stremio writes each stream.
Lines, count and order are the ones Stremio will receive, for a film or a series.
A dotted line marks where Stremio PC stops: the lines after it show on phones.
No icons, with the full file name, to check a copy.
Type / to insert a detail, : for an emoji; mistakes are flagged.
A gallery of templates to adapt; one click undoes the one you just applied.
Catalogues
Choose the rows of Stremio’s home: switch them on, off or remove them, with undo.
Describe a row in one sentence; Gemini turns it into filters, with a preview.
Your real rows and their first titles, before you even open Stremio.
Drag or use the keyboard to reorder; rename each row the way you want to see it.
Digital releases, trending, top rated: rows already there, removable and addable again.
One catalogue per film or series genre, and one per subscription platform.
Popular anime, great classics, films by decade, French cinema, studios, true stories, holidays.
A selection of reference lists, ready to add in one click.
Search for a public list or paste its link: it becomes a row.
Public lists, your watchlist, Trakt’s recommendations and your own lists as catalogues.
A list its author deleted is flagged, never removed behind your back.
Genres, years, minimum rating: narrow down an existing row.
Search, episode notifications, calendar: rename these rows or switch them off.
Posters
Original, Discreet, Complete or All four corners: one click is enough.
Compose each corner: which badges, in which order (rating, quality, Atmos, New, Trending, age, genre).
Dark, light or colour theme; size, shape and the way the rating is written.
Quality, new releases, rating: it all reads on the poster, before you open the page.
The chosen style applies live to your own rows.
See, corner by corner, the badge drawn or the reason it is missing.
Search
The logo replaces the text title; the French-dubbed trailer first, then subtitled, then original.
Paste an IMDb or TMDB ID, or a link: the exact work opens.
Québec, Belgian and alternative titles, anime in romaji: a work is found under all its names.
A letter too many, two swapped, an accent left out: search understands.
One person: their filmography. Two people: the films they share.
got, dune 2, dune 1984: abbreviations, sequel numbers and years are understood.
A search also opens rows for the saga, the studio, the genre or the character.
Ranked by popularity; with no exact match, the closest titles show.
A line at the end of the synopsis names the subscription platforms that offer the title.
A Saga chip, TMDB and IMDb ratings, an IMDb link, a series’ full cast.
Titles, synopses and labels follow the profile’s language, with a fallback synopsis.
For you
Viewio learns from what you watch, profile by profile, and builds catalogues of their own.
Genres, people, eras, languages: what Viewio understood, and one gesture to set it aside.
“Japanese · for you”: titles made in the language you like.
A row for the whole family, with nothing unsuited to the youngest.
Titles close to one you liked or watched, renewed every day.
Three liked titles, three rows of close titles, instead of one.
Recent releases to your taste, and a row of its own once anime weighs in your history.
Catalogues named after your tastes, renewed every week.
New seasons, sequels, worth watching again, hidden gems, missing classics, your directors, trending for you.
Count a taste line twice, or set aside what your history rejects.
Describe your tastes, or like titles in Stremio: one way is enough to get started.
Set the share of discoveries, set genres aside, add your watchlist or not.
Bound release years, minimum rating, a film’s length and original languages to avoid.
Recent or all-time, series left unfinished: decide what weighs in your tastes.
Set aside a period, or a title watched for someone else.
Add a viewing history to Trakt once you agree; it stays fully undoable.
What Viewio keeps is spelled out; “Start over” erases your tastes.
Profiles
Each has their own languages, catalogues, install link and recommendations.
An age limit per profile: above it, the title does not start.
A short wizard, a copy of another profile’s settings, or a backup.
A compact list to switch; your pending changes are never lost.
Under a limit, a title with no certification stays visible, with a 🔒 line that explains.
No personal row offers a title the profile could not play.
A padlock and the age beside the profile’s name, to find your way.
Connections
Playback service, Stremio, Trakt, Gemini: each profile has its own, nothing is shared.
Confirm a code, scan a QR code or paste your key, checked before it is kept.
Link your account: your 👍, ❤️ and your library feed “For you”.
Plan, end date and a warning before it expires, read from your service each time you open it.
Optional: your history, ratings and lists count in “For you”.
Choose the account each profile watches with, or reuse another profile’s.
An orange dot flags a subscription to renew or a refused key, with the right fix.
Your own key turns the Gemini features on; what is sent to it stays viewable.
Link a second service; Viewio will try them in the order you choose.
Sort, remove and tidy the addons of your Stremio account, from Viewio.
Disconnecting Stremio or Trakt erases what Viewio had learnt and revokes its access.
Installation
A button opens Stremio; all that is left is to confirm.
Six screens, one decision each: languages, style, home, connections, install.
Viewio will install and update itself in Stremio, with no link to copy.
Copy the install link: it works for Stremio, Stremio Web and Nuvio.
Each profile has its own; renewing it cancels the old one on every device.
Installable before you connect your service: the catalogues show, playback waits.
The essentials first; Expert adds every setting to the same screens.
One big button for the next step, then the state of each part of your account.
Everything works without an account; a free account adds several profiles and your settings everywhere.
Download your settings to a file; restore it whenever you want, after a check.
Ctrl/Cmd+S, a “modified” dot, a warning before leaving, a signal when another tab makes changes.
Reliability
If a copy has gone, Viewio tries the next ones automatically when you click.
Account, quota, dead link, missing file: a short video says why.
A file with an absurd bitrate for its stated resolution is removed.
A source reported as down is avoided for an hour.
When everything is filtered out, Stremio shows a line that says so, not an empty screen.
When everything is filtered out, the line will name the exact setting to loosen.
An unknown fact, such as an unstated language, is not enough to remove a stream.
A setting Viewio cannot honour is greyed out and explained, or clearly refused.
A one-time sign-in link by email; Stremio and Trakt are authorised with a code.
Your keys are encrypted on the server, never shown again, never exported in a backup.
What you type in search is not recorded.
Your sessions keep neither an IP address nor a browser identifier.
Profiles, links and keys go together; Viewio’s access to Trakt is revoked.
What you want to watch.
The way you want it.
For Stremio and Nuvio. Works with your playback service.
